University of California, Los Angeles
UCLA, with an enrollment of 46,000 undergraduate and graduate students, is the most applied-to university in the United States. The UCLA campus is comprised of 419 acres located in Westwood, a community of Los Angeles This CAS project, which commenced in 2021, encompasses consultant accessibility plan review services in support of UCLA Capital Programs and the Asset Management unit of UCLA Real Estate. CAS performs accessibility code plan reviews for University projects, both on-campus and off-campus, under design.

Ronald Reagan State Building
At the time of its construction in 1990, the 16-story Ronald Reagan State Building was the largest state office building in California. Tenants include the Department of Justice, a branch office of the California Supreme Court, the Franchise Tax Board, and district offices of the Governor and other statewide officials.
Since 2021, CAS has assisted prime consultant APSICM – Sixth Dimension, LLC, in support of the CA Department of General Services - Ronald Reagan State Building Access Barrier Removal Project. CAS conducts on-call site evaluation and accessibility code analysis services for the project’s improvements related to compliance with ADA and California accessibility regulations.

City of Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD)
CAS, in support of prime expert accessibility consultant, Evan Terry Associates (ETA), provides on-site consulting and assistance to ETA covering accessibility evaluations of multi-family public housing developments under construction in the City of Los Angeles. This work is pursuant to a Corrected Settlement Agreement (“CSA”) in the lawsuit Independent Living Center of Southern California, et al. vs. City of Los Angeles, et al. and a Voluntary Compliance Agreement (“VCA”) with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”). For this matter, the City retained professional services of subject matter experts to perform responsibilities and functions set forth in the CSA and VCA. CAS teams and consultant partners support the work of ETA and its leadership team in ETA’s capacity as Expert Accessibility Consultant (CSA) and Chief Neutral Accessibility Consultant (VCA) to conduct visits of LAHD housing developments recently completed or under construction.
